Winston Yang

At Ideas Lab, Winston drives the development of key technologies in Ideas Lab’s portfolio. Winston started his passion in computing after asking for an Apple II+ computer as a birthday gift from his mother.  In high school, he was invited to teach Advanced Placement classes, while developing a heuristic AI, self-learning, game playing algorithm that won second place in the NYS science competition.  His desire in AI and cognitive intelligence continued into university where he taught both undergraduate and graduate level courses in numerical computing, algorithms and systems architecture.  He has over 25 years of applied software engineering experience starting his career at Goldman Sachs before continuing into positions at Deloitte and Deutsche Bank. Winston graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University.

Jesse Hollander

Jesse co-founded Ideas Lab with a background in private equity, investment banking and entrepreneurship. At Ideas Lab, Jesse works on all aspects of the venture development, identification of commercial pathways for in-house technologies, and driving Ideas Lab’s corporate and academic partner network. Jesse began his career in M&A advisory and continued developing his skillset in investment and corporate development. Prior to Ideas Lab, Jesse founded or co-founded two other companies—the first an M&A advisory practice in Ethiopia and a connected kitchenware focused on the senior tech market. Jesse received his M.B.A. from Hult International Business School with a focus on entrepreneurship and international finance and his B.A. in psychology from Boston University.

Jeronimo De Leon

Jeronimo De Leon has been in technology since the early 2000s with experience in UX, design, development,and product management. He has experience with working for large corporations such as Time Inc and News Corp, startups, and digital creative agencies and has worked on digital projects that have won international awards. Since 2014 he worked on digital marketing projects for IBM focusing on their IBM Watson, Data Science, Cloud and Developer products. He is passionate about AI and founded Welcome.AI, an AI company market directory.
