IdeasLab won the global “Go Healthy with Taiwan” competition with SmartEdge Baseball, built on the same Computer Vision Proprietary AI Model that powers XView AI. Learn what this means for the future of AI sports analysis.

When we built XView AI, the goal was simple: take the kind of markerless biomechanics analysis once reserved for pro labs and put it in every golfer’s pocket. That same technology just won on a global stage, and it came with a trophy and a $30,000 prize to prove it.
IdeasLab was named a top global winner of the “Go Healthy with Taiwan” competition, organized by TAITRA, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council. Out of 638 proposals submitted from 55 countries, our SmartEdge Baseball project was selected for its potential to redefine sports medicine and athletic training. The win was celebrated in Taipei with the prestigious Taiwan Excellence “Infinite Taiwan” trophy.
What Is SmartEdge Baseball?
SmartEdge Baseball is built on the same core foundation as XView AI: Markerless Biomechanical Intelligence powered by computer vision AI. Instead of golf swings, SmartEdge Baseball applies that same approach to pitching and batting mechanics, combining Taiwan’s advanced smart sensor and edge computing technology with our computer vision AI to create a complete biomechanics platform built to prevent injuries and improve performance.

The proposal that won, titled “SmartEdge Baseball: Pioneering the Future of Sport with Markerless Biomechanical Intelligence,” demonstrates how the same underlying approach behind your golf swing analysis can extend across sports. Different game, same core technology.
Why This Matters for XView AI Users
If you use XView AI to analyze your golf swing, this recognition is direct validation of the approach you’re already training with. The Markerless Biomechanical Intelligence that tracks your biomechanics, club path, ball movement, grip, club head, and club shaft on the golf course is built on the same computer vision AI foundation that judges at one of the largest global sports tech competitions just recognized as having the potential to redefine an entire sport’s approach to training and injury prevention.
This isn’t a separate product borrowing our name. It’s proof that the core technology driving XView AI is built on a level of biomechanical precision serious enough to win on an international stage, against proposals from 55 countries.

A Global Stage, A Taiwan Connection
The “Go Healthy with Taiwan” competition is organized by TAITRA to showcase how global companies can integrate with Taiwan’s technology ecosystem, particularly its strength in sensors, smart apparel, and edge computing manufacturing. As Winston Yang, Founder & CEO of IdeasLab, put it:
The mission is to integrate Taiwan’s technological strength and sports excellence with AI, elevating Taiwan’s global presence and driving innovation in sports technology.
For our growing user base across Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea, this connection matters. It’s a signal that the technology inside XView AI isn’t just built for the Asian golf market. It’s being built and validated in collaboration with one of the most advanced manufacturing and technology ecosystems in the region.
What’s Next
IdeasLab is now scaling SmartEdge Baseball and actively looking for strategic partners to help bring this technology to athletic training programs, sports medicine practices, and academies. At the same time, this recognition reinforces the direction we’re already building toward with XView AI: more precise biomechanics tracking, more sport-specific applications, and more tools that put professional-level analysis directly into the hands of athletes, coaches, and golfers everywhere.
If you’ve been using XView AI to break down your swing, you’ve been training with a Markerless Biomechanical Intelligence approach the global sports tech community just recognized as genuinely groundbreaking. That’s not a coincidence. It’s the result of years of work on markerless computer vision AI built to understand human movement at a level most consumer apps never attempt.

Try the Technology Behind the Win
XView AI gives you free access to the same Markerless Biomechanical Intelligence approach recognized at “Go Healthy with Taiwan.” Upload your swing, get full 2D and 3D biomechanics analysis, and train with technology built to the same standard that’s now being adopted across sports far beyond golf.
